Being around him is like being surrounded
By a thousand different heavens
And one shadowy hell.
And jumping full force into that hell
Because none of the heavens are for you.
You're killing yourself,
And kicking yourself,
And pleading with yourself to speak.
Speak.
Speak.
The words want to escape;
Blistering,
Burning,
Begging,
To escape from your tender lips,
And you keep thinking and rethinking
And thinking some more,
That he has someone,
And its not you.
And no amount of begging
Will ever be enough.
Because he loves her and not you;
So the shadowy hell it is.
You'll keep your words
Because they are lava in your eye
You burn brighter than the sun
Your passion blinding, your opinions laced with bitterness
Chaos shimmers in your midst
With good humor to clean it up
Charming without trying
Graceful only in the highest heels
You're everything women aspire to be
Everything men hope to have
Your heart is beautiful
But the dark thoughts can hold it back
Let it shine, sweetheart, let it shine.
Every habit makes you human
Your willpower makes you more
Grating and loud, but soft and kind
Every opposing force created you
So beautiful that the Gods could form their images
Based only on your grandeur
Not that you'd believe me if I told you.

For thousands of years, scientists have questioned and researched stars. Every religion, every faith, have their own ideas of what stars represent. Some of them are closer to the right answer than to the wrong one. But, trying to explain the stars is where science went astray. But, our story isn't about stars. Our story begins as any story would begin, with an introduction. My name is Agalia. I was sent here to tell the story of love, life, happiness, the stars and, most importantly, t

and you were so very malleable."
"So, believe me, my darling, when I say
that no one will love you like I did."
"Where are they all at when you're falling apart
and have nobody to turn to?"
"I was there every night, making you nicer, stronger,
more alive, more human."

that had so many chances to defy description
all I have now is anger and grief
and all you have is her.
So many memories revolving around a boy

because it was all new to him
all they labeled him was love, love, love

You taste of cruelty
the devil incarnate himself
fire and brimstone follow you
like little ducklings crossing the road
oh how you'd let them get hit
I can remember perfectly
that your hair fell at the most beautiful angle
over your bright eyes
When you'd lean over me
It would present your face
a curtain pulling apart for the main act
Who are you to tear apart my heart?
Scissors in hand you snipped, snipped, snipped away
until it all drifted to the ground
you cold creature, you dastardly disaster
I can remember perfectly
all the things you said to me
your favorite color is yellow
and your favorite person was me
and the sound
I know how to find you from here
Inside my memories
I can take a stroll through the peppermint fields
and breathe in the smoke of my burning heart
to find your scent again
I can close my eyes
and find my way to my bed
turn the lights out
and let the sound hum in the background
imagining your breath still in my ear
as I wrap the blanket tightly around myself
I can talk to thin air
and pretend its you
Say all the things I meant to say
and take back all of those I didnt
I can still hear you
and see you groan my name, turning towards me
When i imagine the soft closing of morning glories
I think of your voice
I can still see you
disjointed visions are all I have left
and memories that mean nothing to you
Their hands surround my throat
and rip away my heartstrings, one by one
and remind me
that I'm only human
Majestic birds know the fear of flying
just as much as myself
and what can happen if you land
the hawks can be avoided
if you know the terrain
but the felines get to you
when all you can do is hop
hop
hop away
wounded and desolate
your enemy will always be
someone you dont know
so watch for the felines
and trust the hawks to stay predictable
What do you tell your future children
when they ask about your childhood
when they realize that you,
Being around him is like being surrounded

Chapter One
Everyone is born without a name. Names are considered special and humans think of them as a representation of how well your future will be. Names such as Elizabeth and John have more prosperous a feel than names like Huck or Delilah. Names like Huck and Delilah seem more likely to live in Hicksville, Alabama than become a business entrepreneur in New York. We still name our children these type

Everyone has a different form of happiness. Normally it is affected by humans natural greed. Happiness is achieved through money, friends, and fame. The simplest things in life are often passed over. A kiss on the cheek, a cheery greeting. Hallie, a twelve-year old, thought the simplest things in the world were the best. She loved tradition and nature. She and her father would always sit on their front porch, him on the steps, her on a swing, swapping Fairy tales while waiting for the summer sun to set. When it was dark, they would wait in silence, attentively watching the grass until finally, brig

A small girl of about seven or eight ran, screaming, down the street one morning of a cold and wet October day. Her father followed, amused, eyes twinkling with laughter. The girl turned, yellow rain boots squeaking, and threw herself into her fathers outstretched arms. The hood of her black striped white windbreaker flew back in the wind. The father moved his umbrella to his other hand, to better balance his daughter and keep her dryer. His sweater soon became soaked in the chilly water.
Its really pouring out today, aint it, Elfrida? The father grinned, tilting the umbrella so huge droplets fell on her head. His a

I wish I could write poetry

Real poetry that makes you cry

If only my poetry were real
If only it reduced you to agony
If only the words BURST to life
Burst to life and danced, danced on tiptoes
If I were a poet, you could taste the words
Each delicate bud on your tongue could feel them crawling
Crawling slowly down your throat
