DNA Resisters

This book follows four teenagers: Riza, Sam, Corey, and Catherine, though their struggle to survive in a world against them. Pursued by government officials, called Black Boots, the four must come to terms with their power as DNA Resisters.

After a daring escape from the yearly government reestablishing ceremony, the four fight for their lives as Black Boots try to capture them for government use.

Their special powers, evident from birth, allows them to teleport when a rift in space shows itself to them. Their status as strong DNA resistors may hold the key to this special power for their government

Why are only prime number chromosomes effected? Why are children born with abilities and not birth defects? Most importantly, how are four wanted teenagers going to survive on their own while dodging people who want to take away their freedom?
